Nicholas Tennant has been singing in public from
an early age. He has performed in concert with such varied luminaries
as Igor Stravinsky, Joseph Kripps, Darius Milhaud, and Ella Fitzgerald,
and with the San Francisco Symphony, Berkeley Consortium Antiquum,
Rudolph Saltzer Singers, Rogue Valley Opera Association, Rogue Valley
Symphony, Britt Festival, Actors Workshop of Ashland, and on French
and Irish national radio. In addition to musical activities as a
vocalist, voice teacher, percussionist, instrument maker, director,
arranger and composer, he has at various times worked as a chemist,
seismologist, radio announcer, speed-reading and memory teacher,
retailer, printer, dairy farmer, and non-profit agency administrator,
but his real love is early music. He has been singing with the Terra
Nova Consort since 1984.
